'From Drugs to Mugs' features results of a survey and criminal history investigation of three hundred adult inmates housed at Multnomah County's Inverness Jail as well as before and after mug shots of inmates addicted to drugs such as: Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Prescription Pills.Sponsored by Goldendale Police Department & Klickitat County Meth Action Team

Moderate: 7 miles round trip.Join wildflower expert, Barbara Robinson, on this moderately paced early wildflower hike along SwaleCreek in eastern Gorge. Look for desert parsleys and rare Dalles Mt. Buttercups on this occasionally rocky and nearly flat trail. Dress for cool weather and bring a lunch.Meeting place: 9:30 Am at Balfour Park. Actual start of hike is 15 miles north of meeting place at the Harms Road Trailhead. We will carpool to it. Klickitat-Balfour park is located SR-14. Walk leaders: Stuart Johnson.Birding walk starts at Harm Road.It's a good idea to ge an early start when seeking out birds. Jonh Klickitat County birdwatcher, Stuart Jonhston, who will lead this hike. We will make frequent stops to listen. Dress warlmy, in layers that can be shed as the morning warms up. We will be alert for flight displays of newly-arrrived Long-billed Curlews and singing Vesper Sparrows, among other species We'll also have opportunities to identify many early spring wildflowers along the trail.First meeting place: 7:00 am at Balfour Park.Second Meeting place:7:45 am at Harms Road Trailhead.Klickitat-Balfour Park is located off SR-14. Turn left onto Hwy 8, heading east, just before the Klickitat River. Follow Old Hwy 8 for approximately 1/4 mile to the parking lot on the east side of the road. There is a restroom at the park. Harms Road is Located just off the Lyle- Centerville hwy. From Lyle, take the Lyle Centerville Hwy , in the center if town. Head north approximatelty 15 miles. Turn left on Harms Road.
